Day Care
Every day is a fun day at Dog Zone!
Dog Zone Day Care
Offered 7 am – 6 pm, Monday through Friday
How does Dog Zone day care start?
Our trainers evaluate your dog for play level, size, physical condition, energy level, and temperament. With this information, we then select a play group for your dog. We create rounded and balanced group dynamics to ensure your dog is happy and safe.
Once in their groups, dogs are guided to our outdoor play area. In good weather, the dogs can go in and out of the play areas as they wish. Our outside play areas give the dogs access to pea-gravel for ‘business’, sheltered snoozing areas, pools to lounge in and several nice areas to ‘sunbathe’. With safety as our first concern, we offer spacious, double fenced yards, with awnings. If the weather changes, dogs have a large, padded floor, and heated play area indoors.
After a few hours of play time, dogs are guided indoors to heated/air conditioned, padded crates, or runs, where they can rest in groups.
We require rest time for all the campers
Much like children, dogs are prone to squabbles and injury when too much activity is allowed over too long a period. This is why rest periods are a mandatory part of the day for our dogs. This decompression time for your pet not only benefits them physically and mentally, but also aids their self-control and coping skills.
Safety is our priority
Dogs are always supervised by and interact with a member of the Dog Zone Team. Training staff is present to ensure the safety and well-being of all the dogs. Also, our staff members monitor energy levels and promote play in the groups.
